Norwalk Fire Department Collecting School Supplies

Donations can be brought to the Norwalk Fire Headquarters through Aug. 16.

NORWALK, CT — Not all kids can afford items needed for the start of the school year, so the Norwalk Fire Department is collecting school supplies to help the Human Services Council in Norwalk.

In a news release, Deputy Director of Emergency Management Michele DeLuca said donations can be brought to the Norwalk Fire Headquarters, located at 121 Connecticut Avenue, through Aug. 16.

"With your help," DeLuca said in a news release, "we can make sure they have what they need to start the year right!"
