Norwalk Firefighters Help Woman Trapped Under Vehicle: FD

NORWALK, CT — Fire officials said Norwalk firefighters helped a woman in a parking lot Sunday afternoon who was trapped under a vehicle. Officials said the incident occurred after the vehicle struck the woman at 205 Main Street.

Officials said firefighters quickly used tools and cribbing to raise the car and remove the unidentified woman, according to a release. She was then transported to Norwalk Hospital with severe injuries, officials said.

The Norwalk Hour reports that police said the woman's injuries were not life-threatening, and the incident is still under investigation.
