NORWALK, CT — Police are seeking to identify a man who scammed a victim out of $2,450. The victim was contacted by a person claiming to be a law enforcement official who demanded money because the victim's grandson was in jail.
The money was wired to Stop and Shop in Norwalk.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or who has information is asked to contact Norwalk Police at 203-854-3011 or leave an anonymous tip at 203-854-3111.
