Norwalk High Marching Band Wins National Championship: Report

NORWALK, CT – The Norwalk High School Marching Bears placed first in the U.S. Bands National Championships held over the weekend at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey, the Norwalk Hour reported. It is their third championship win since 2014.

According to the Norwalk Hour, Norwalk High band director Chris Rivera said the school's was one of the largest bands at the competition. Over the past month, the Bears have also placed first in the U.S. Bands New England States and New England Regional competitions.
