Norwalk To Hold New Outdoor Event Featuring Soup Crawl, Fire Pits
The Melt on Wall Street will feature live music, fire pits, complimentary s'mores, a soup crawl, heated igloo tents, artisan demos and more.
NORWALK, CT — The city aims to turn up the heat this winter with The Melt on Wall Street, a first-time seasonal celebration featuring a number of exciting activities scheduled to take place Saturday.
According to a news release provided by Visit Norwalk, the city's official tourism initiative, the event will transform the Wall Street Historic District into a "cozy, high-energy outdoor gathering."
Designed to bring the community back outdoors as winter begins to fade, The Melt on Wall Street blends music, food, local shopping and warm gathering spaces into one all-day experience, according to Visit Norwalk.

Attendees can enjoy live entertainment throughout the event, including performances by BADBOY and Old School 203, with additional entertainment details to be announced.

- Live music and DJ sets from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Fire pits and complimentary s'mores kits for warming up and socializing.
- The Melt Soup Crawl, inviting guests to sample and vote for the best comfort bowls of the season; tickets available in advance and available for purchase onsite.
- Heated igloo tents for a cozy outdoor dining experience (reservations required; select booking options available now).
- Outdoor bar featuring cider, beer, wine and batch cocktails from local businesses.
- Local vendors and artisan demonstrations featuring a curated lineup of makers, nonprofits and community organizations.
The event also encourages visitors to explore the neighborhood's dining and nightlife scene, including nearby favorites such as BJ Ryan's, Bar Bushido, Coals, BJ Ryan's BanC House and Greer Southern Table among many others.
Parking is available at the Yankee Doodle Garage, Main Street Lot and Wall Street Lot. Access to the Yankee Doodle Garage will be exclusively through the entrance on Burnell Blvd, according to Visit Norwalk.
Alcoholic beverages must remain within the event area and are not permitted beyond River Street, according to Visit Norwalk.
