Norwalk To Hold Outdoor Public Menorah Lighting At City Hall

The event will feature live music and pre-packaged Chanukah gelt and cookies.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk will hold an outdoor menorah lighting ceremony at City Hall on Dec. 21 to mark the fourth light of the eight-day Chanukah festival.

The free event is open to the public and will begin at 5 p.m. on the front lawn of City Hall facing East Avenue, according to a news release.

Rabbi Yehoshua S. Hecht of Beth Israel Chabad will host the event with Rabbi Levi Stone. Mayor Harry Rilling and his wife, Lucia, will also be on hand for the lighting.

The event will feature live music and pre-packaged Chanukah gelt and cookies. Dreidels will also be distributed to all.
