Norwalk Hospital Presents Panel Discussion on Colorectal Cancer Awareness: A Call to Action
Physician experts and allied health professionals talk about the importance of awareness, screening and prevention
The Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital is partnering with the American Cancer Society on Thursday, March 23, to present a panel discussion focused on March Colorectal Cancer Awareness: A Call to Action. The program takes place at 5:30 pm at the American Cancer Society located at 38 Richards Avenue in Norwalk.
Featured program panelists will be Norwalk Hospital gastroenterologist Naveen Anand, MD, colorectal surgeon Ryan Bendl, DO, oncology dietitian Bridget Bennett, MS, RD, and genetic counselor Susan Ingram, MS, CGC. They will talk about the importance of awareness, screening and prevention. A light dinner will be served at 5:30 pm, and the program starts promptly at 6 pm.
