Norwalk To Host Fun-Filled Easter 'Eggventure' Spring Celebration

The city will host a fun-filled Easter "eggventure" and spring celebration at Mill Hill in Norwalk later this month. Here are the details.

NORWALK, CT — The city will host a fun-filled Easter "eggventure" and spring celebration at Mill Hill in Norwalk on March 23 that promises fun for the whole family.

According to a news release provided by the city, the event will kick off at 11:30 a.m., with the egg hunt commencing promptly at 12 p.m. Children ages 9 and younger are invited to participate in the hunt under the supervision of a guardian.

This year, the hunt will last for 15 minutes, ensuring a thrilling and engaging experience for all attendees.

Participants are encouraged to keep an eye out for special golden eggs hidden throughout the grounds. Each golden egg guarantees a fun prize provided by our generous sponsors.

To help ensure fairness, attendees will be asked to only take one golden egg each, leaving the rest for fellow participants to discover.

In addition to the egg hunt, attendees can enjoy a plethora of exciting activities, including the enjoyment of balloon masterpieces crafted by Balloon Whimzy that will make for fantastic photo ops and decor.

Families can also partake in spring crafts, including painting their own mini flowerpots and planting wildflower seeds. There will also be free coffee and treats, ensuring that everyone stays energized and refreshed throughout the festivities.

"Come out and enjoy our family-friendly Easter egg hunt on March 23 and all the exciting activities we have in store for the community," Rilling said in a news release. "The Easter celebration is an opportunity to bring the community together to socialize and have fun and I want to thank the Norwalk Historical Society for allowing us to host this celebration at Mill Hill."

Parking at Mill Hill is limited, and there is no parking available unless a handicap permit is presented. Street parking is also very limited, but parking is conveniently available at City Hall, located at 125 East Avenue, as well as the Yankee Doodle Garage at 3 Burnell Boulevard and the Main Street Lot located at 20 Main Street.
