Norwalk Letter Carrier Accused Of Stealing Gift Cards: Report
Police said a letter carrier is accused of stealing gift cards intended for customers on his Norwalk delivery route.

NORWALK ,CT — Police said a letter carrier is accused of stealing gift cards intended for customers on his Norwalk delivery route, the Norwalk Hour reported.
According to the Hour, Norwalk police and the U.S. Postal Service Inspector General’s office began investigating allegations that a mail carrier out of the Belden Avenue branch was stealing mail containing gift cards in December.
Police said 33-year-old James Urban of Stratford allegedly returned packages to the post office with gift cards missing from them on two separate occasions, according to the Hour. The accused was arrested Wednesday on charges of larceny, illegal use of a credit card and credit card theft, police said.
