The Feminine Side of 20th Century Art: From O’Keeffe to Frankenthaler

Norwalk, CT, July 8, 2020 – The Norwalk Public Library welcomes ArtScapades back for a virtual presentation in its continuing series of lectures on 20th Century Art. Please join us on Wednesday, July 22, at 6:30p.m., from the comfort of your home, for “The Feminine Side of 20th Century Art: From O’Keeffe to Frankenthaler.”

ArtScapades will begin with the history of women in art, and how that history laid a foundation for women artists in the twentieth century and beyond. Included will be a look at the lives and works of Georgia O’Keeffe, Joan Mitchell, and Helen Frankenthaler.

Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman of ArtScapades began teaching art appreciation in 1998. They have presented at libraries and museums in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Florida.
