Each month, Susannah and Tina will introduce you to some great nonfiction titles they’ve enjoyed, and keep you in the know about similar titles to look for. Since this isn’t a book group, you’re not expected to have read in advance the books that Susannah and Tina will be presenting, but attendees are an important part of Nonfiction Chat, and we look forward to your sharing with us what you’re reading now, great past reads, and your areas of interest. At the September 16 program, Why We Can’t Sleep: Women’s New Midlife Crisis by Ada Calhoun, and Of Bears and Ballots: An Alaskan Adventure in Small-Town Politics by Heather Lende, will be featured. Both books are available from the library through Hoopla and in print. Other nonfiction titles of a similar topic will be mentioned, as well.
All are invited to participate in Nonfiction Chat, even those die-hard fiction lovers. Who knows, we may whet your appetite for something new. We look forward to having you join in the conversation!
