Norwalk Library Requests $75,000 For Bookmobile: Report

Library officials hope to bring the bookmobile to schools, camps and community events.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Public Library is requesting $75,000 in a special capital appropriation for a brand-new bookmobile, the Norwalk Hour reported.

According to the Hour, library officials hope to bring the bookmobile to schools, camps and community events. The pop-up library would also offer supplies such as makerspace materials and WiFi hotspots, and would be small enough to be driven by a library employee.
