If their bill indicates they owe a balance, they will have until Oct. 10 to pay their bill without interest. They can pay by mail, in person at the Tax Collector's Office at City Hall or online by visiting https://www.mytaxbill.org/inet/bill/home.do?town=norwalk.

If their bill indicates that they overpaid, the City will credit them on their July 2024 motor vehicle tax bill on the same vehicle. However, if they prefer to receive a refund instead of waiting for the 2024 credit, they will be able to do so, city officials said.

Those interested in a refund should send a completed refund application form to the Tax Collector's Office no later than Nov. 30, 2023, according to city officials.
