According to the FBI, Norwalk resident Andrew Cohen, 20, was suspected of sharing videos online of very young children engaged in sexual acts.
During an investigation, police discovered information that led to the approval of a search and seizure warrant, which officers executed at Cohen's home on Sept. 30, Gulino said.

After forensically examining digital evidence seized from Cohen's home, police located a number of videos containing child pornography, Gulino said.
Police obtained a warrant for Cohen's arrest on May 9, and arrangements for him to surrender to Norwalk police were being made through his attorney, Gulino said.
A medical call to Cohen's home Sunday led to him being arrested that day, Gulino said. He was charged with promoting a minor in obscene performance and first-degree illegal possession of child pornography.
Cohen was held on a $250,000 court-set bond and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
