NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of child pornography possession following an extensive investigation, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said detectives from the department's Special Victims Unit served an arrest warrant to David Rosenfield, 68, of Norwalk, charging him with first-degree possession of child pornography.

According to Dinho, the arrest was the culmination of an extensive and detailed investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, during which investigators collected and thoroughly analyzed evidence obtained through search and seizure warrants.

Rosenfield was arrested at his Norwalk home and taken to the Norwalk Police Department for processing. His bond was set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, Dinho said.
