Norwalk Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Juvenile Arrested: Police
The arrest was made after a lengthy investigation of the sexual assault of a juvenile, according to Norwalk police.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile was arrested Monday, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Terrence Blake said the department's Special Victims Unit began investigating allegations of a sexual assault of a juvenile on March 29.
After a lengthy investigation, which included an analysis of evidence conducted by the state forensic science laboratory, police identified Eddy Puchaicela-Lara, 31, of Norwalk, as a suspect in the assault, Blake said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Puchaicela-Lara, charging him with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and illegal sexual contact with a victim under 16.
On Monday, a Norwalk police officer assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force found Puchaicela-Lara's car parked on Slocum Street and later saw him exit a house nearby, according to Blake.

Puchaicela-Lara was arrested by members of the Special Victims Unit, Special Services Unit and the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, Blake said. His bond was set at $2 million and he was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
