Norwalk Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A Juvenile: Police
The suspect was arrested on a warrant Monday in connection with the December incident.

NORWALK, CT — A 29-year-old Norwalk man was arrested on a warrant by Norwalk police on Monday in connection with a case of sexual assault on a juvenile from December, according to authorities.
Harvin Rivera, of Chapel Street, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor after he was apprehended at his home early Monday. Norwalk police said he was found hiding under his bed at the time of his arrest.
"On December 16, 2019, the Special Victims Unit began investigating the sexual assault of a
juvenile victim," police said. "Detective Marquis, working with an investigator from the Department of Children and Families, quickly determined that Harvin Rivera was the suspect."

Additional details of the incident were not disclosed.
Rivera was held in lieu of bail of $250,000, and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Feb. 26.
