Norwalk Man Charged With Assault In Front Of 2 Children: Report

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man is accused of kicking a person in the head in front of two children under the age of 10, the Norwalk Hour reported. The alleged incident occurred Monday at the accused's Ely Avenue residence, and he was arrested at his job in Stamford later that day, police said.

According to the Hour, police said the incident occurred after 37-year-old Gulam Kibria forcibly barricaded the victim at his residence and allegedly forbid them from contacting others under the threat of violence. Police said the accused never threatened or grew physical with the children.
