Norwalk Man Charged In Knifepoint Robbery: Report

Police said a Norwalk man has been charged with allegedly robbing a victim at knifepoint​ outside a liquor store.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man has been charged with allegedly robbing an unidentified victim at knifepoint Monday, the Norwalk Hour reported. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. outside Cocchia’s Liquor Store on Ely Avenue, police said.

Police said the alleged victim told police Xavier Dash, 29, of Norwalk pulled a knife on the victim in a nearby alley, demanding money, according to the Norwalk Hour. The victim was eventually able to break free from the suspect, police said.

The suspect later allegedly punched the victim and took their jacket after the victim walked out of the liquor store, according to the Norwalk Hour.
