NORWALK, NY — New York State Police in Troop K said they removed 27 impaired drivers from public roads over the 2019 Memorial Day weekend. A Norwalk man is among those accused. On May 26, State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Isau R. Martinez Coronado, 27, of Norwalk, CT, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. He was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.

The topic for the day:&nbsp;What Do You Worship? Unitarian Universalists often use the word "worship" to describe what happens on Sunday mornings. If many UUs reject traditional religion, why do they hold on to the word "worship"...and more importantly, what exactly are they worshipping?Adam Lawrence Dyer is currently completing a Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary Religious Thought at the University of Virginia where his research focus is equity, embodiment and liberal religion.&nbsp;&nbsp;He received his BA from Princeton University and his M.Div. from the Pacific School of Religion where he earned the Certificate in Sexuality and Religion and was recognized with the Paul Wesley Yinger Preaching Award.&nbsp;From 2017 to 2022, he was the lead minister at First Parish in Cambridge, and the Unitarian Universalist chaplain at Harvard University and is the author of a collection of meditations on blackness and liberal religion titled Love Beyond God(2016).&nbsp;Click <a href="https://uuwestport.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/OOS_5-24-26.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">HERE</a> for the Order of Service. Smith</a> presides over our time together that includes participation from multiple congregants, guests, and friends.
