Norwalk Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography: PD
Police said a "cyber tip" from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children lead to the arrest.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man accused of uploading child pornography to a website was arrested Tuesday. According to a news release, police said the Special Victims Unit received a "cyber tip" from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in August 2018.
"The cyber tip indicated that several media files containing child pornography had been uploaded from a location in Norwalk to a website on the internet," Lieutenant Terrence Blake said in a release. "Detective James Thompson conducted an investigation and determined the location from where the files had been uploaded."
On Tuesday, members of the Special Victims Unit, assisted by investigators from the Southwest Connecticut Technical Investigations Unit, executed a search and seizure warrant at a South Main Street residence, police said. (To sign up for Norwalk breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
