NORWALK, CT — A man accused of exposing himself to a female pedestrian in Norwalk was arrested Tuesday, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said a woman reported the incident Tuesday around 8 p.m.

The woman told police a white Kia Sportage SUV with white cardboard covering the license plate drove up to her Monday as she was walking on Fillow Street. The driver, a man, then showed her his genitals before driving off, Dinho said.

The woman told police she saw the same man drive by her again in the same car Tuesday while she was on Fillow Street. Once again, the back license plate was covered, Dinho said.

The woman followed the driver, who parked the car and removed the cardboard covering from the license plate, allowing her to record the registration, Dinho said. She then went to police headquarters to report the incident.
