Norwalk Man Charged With Punching Ex-Girlfriend In Face: Report

Police said a Norwalk man is charged with punching his ex-girlfriend in the face during an argument.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man is charged with punching his ex-girlfriend in the face, the Norwalk Hour reported. The incident occurred Friday around 8 p.m. at a Warren Street residence, police said.

Police said Xavier Dash, 29, of Norwalk is charged with hitting his ex-girlfriend after showing up to her house unannounced and appearing heavily intoxicated, according to the Norwalk Hour. Police said the woman had visible swelling on her left cheek and a small cut on her lip.

Police said the suspect told officers the woman had struck him in the face, though officers were at first unable to find any evidence of physical abuse against the suspect, the Norwalk Hour reported. The female victim was later given a misdemeanor court summons after officers noticed swelling and a small cut on the suspect's face.
