Norwalk Man Chases Down His Own Stolen Car: Report

The car was stolen from a driveway on Baxter Drive Tuesday morning, and the victim spotted it early that afternoon.

NORWALK, CT — A man's car was stolen from a driveway in Norwalk Tuesday morning after he left the keys in it, but by that afternoon he saw it on the road and chased after it, reports The Hour.

And not only did he engage in a pursuit, he caught up to the car and blocked it in a parking lot, leading to its recovery. Police are investigating and possessing the vehicle for potential evidence.

The car was stolen at about 8 a.m. from a driveway on Baxter Drive, and the victim spotted it at about 1 p.m. near Ely Avenue. After he pinned the car in a parking lot, the two men inside jumped out and ran off.
