Norwalk Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Guardrail: Police
The crash happened Friday on Route 7 near Norwalk, Connecticut State Police said.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man is dead after state police said his SUV left the road and crashed into a guardrail Friday.
Connecticut State Police said 44-year-old Monehm Pierre was driving southbound in the left lane of Route 7 near exit 3 when his Toyota Highlander left the road for an unknown reason and struck a metal guardrail.
Pierre was taken to a hospital in Norwalk, where he was pronounced dead.

A passenger in the SUV, 66-year-old Violette Jeannis, was also taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
