Norwalk Man Makes Plea In Homicide Case
A woman was found strangled to death in her apartment last year.

NORWALK, CT — James Cunningham, 43, agreed to a plea deal in the strangling death of Marian Alexander, 52, in her apartment last year.
Cunningham's DNA was found in a satchel that was used to strangle Alexander, a crack pipe inside her apartment and under the victim's fingernails, according to the Hour.
Her body was found in her bedroom June 17, 2016 after neighbors became concerned. Screaming was heard the night before, but the noise was a common occurrence. Alexander would date men for money to buy crack, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
