Norwalk Man Parks Illegally, Arrested On Drug Charges: Report
Police said a Norwalk man was arrested after officers noticed he had parked his vehicle illegally at a local housing complex.

NORWALK, CT — Rather than simply receiving a parking ticket, a Norwalk man was arrested on drug charges after officers noticed he had parked his vehicle illegally at a local housing complex, the Norwalk Hour reported. The incident occurred Tuesday at approximately 11 p.m., police said.
Police said officers noticed 25-year-old Dimitry Louis' car was parked in a no-parking zone at Colonial Village housing complex, according to the Norwalk Hour. The suspect quickly exited his car when approached by officers, however they detected a strong odor of marijuana, police said.
Police said partially smoked marijuana cigarettes were visible in the vehicle while officers talked to Louis, the Norwalk Hour reported. After a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located approximately 21.76 grams of marijuana and arrested the suspect, police said.
