Norwalk Man Robbed People While Impersonating a Cop, Says Police
He even allegedly patted down his victims.

NORWALK, CT — A 43-year-old man was arrested on a warrant this week after pretended he was a police officer in order to pat down and rob his victims, according to Norwalk police.
The Hour reports that Efrain Reyes, of Bayne Street, allegedly approached several victims back in June, flashed a badge and asked if they were selling drugs. He then patted them down, took their wallets or cash out of their pockets and drove off.
Police were able to get the license plate of the vehicle and tracked down Reyes, in part due to victim's description of him. He was charged with impersonating an officer and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny, and was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
