Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling to Seek Third Term
Rilling, a former police chief in the city, made the announcement this week.

NORWALK, CT — Democratic Mayor Harry Rilling has announced that he will seek a third, two-year term as Norwalk's top elected official.
He made the announcement Sunday during a campaign kickoff event at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, attended by United States Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Rilling's wife, Lucia, other family members, local and state leaders and more than 100 supporters, reports The Hour.
Rilling, who served as Norwalk's police chief before becoming mayor, so far does not have an announced Republican rival. He defeated Republican Richard Moccia in 2013.
