Norwalk Now Hiring Camp Counselors, Seasonal Positions

NORWALK, CT — The city of Norwalk is currently accepting applications for camp counselor and seasonal recreation instructor positions.

According to the city's Recreation and Parks Facebook page, the department hires 30-40 instructors and camp counselors each year to work at various camp sites throughout the city.

Camp counselors must be 16 years or older and will be responsible for planning and leading activities and experiences for children in a group setting, as well as overseeing the general safety and development of the children under their supervision, according to the department.

Seasonal staff should be available to work the entire summer season.
