Norwalk Opens Zone 3 Sign-Up Period For Bulky Waste Collection

Eligible households may receive up to two bulky waste pickups per year.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk residents in Zone 3 can now register for bulky waste pickup in September, the city announced Thursday.

According to the city's Facebook page, Zone 3 residents can register for pickup between Aug. 17 and Aug. 27.

Residents in the 4th Taxing District with city collection are eligible for two bulky waste pickups per year, according to the city.

The city also noted:

  • Pickup is by zone and month.
  • Sign-up is required during a zone's window.
  • Limit: 1 cubic yard per pickup.

Residents can find their zone here and schedule by submitting a click & request ticket here or by calling 203-854-3200 (option 0), according to the city.

The actual pickup for Zone 3 will take place in September, city officials noted.
