Norwalk Pawn Shop Robbed at Gunpoint: Cops

The robbery occurred late Friday morning on Connecticut Avenue.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police are searching for two men who robbed the Gold Rush Pawn Shop at gunpoint Friday morning on Connecticut Avenue.

The robbery occurred at 11:10 a.m. in the 400 block of Connecticut Avenue, and police are asking for the public's help in finding the thieves.

"Suspect 1 is described as a black male, approximately 6’-1”, muscular build with long dread locks," Norwalk police wrote in a statement. "Suspect 2 is described as an Hispanic male, approximately 5’-9”, medium build. Suspect 2 displayed a handgun during the robbery."

Additional details, such as what the two got away with and what type of vehicle, if any, they fled the scene in were not disclosed.
