Norwalk PD To Hold Citizen Police Academy This Fall
Participants will get an inside look at police operations, ride along with an on-duty police officer, view live demonstrations and more.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Citizen Police Academy 2023 will be held at the Norwalk Police Department this fall.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the free program is set to start Oct. 10 and conclude Nov. 14. The academy will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a total of 10 sessions.
Participants will get an inside look at police operations, ride along with an on-duty police officer, get to know police executives, view live demonstrations and tour Norwalk police headquarters.

Advanced registration is required and limited to participants 18 years or older. Applicants must also be a Norwalk resident and will be subject to a background check, Evarts said.
