Norwalk Police Announce November 2018 Officers Of The Month

Norwalk police have announced three officers as the November 2018 Officers of the Month​.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police have announced Officers Anthony del Pino, Andrew Roncinske and James Barron as the November 2018 Officers of the Month. According to a press release, these Strategic Narcotics Enforcement Team Officers observed a man on Nov. 4 with a suspicious bulge in his waistband.

Suspecting he was in possession of a firearm, the officers approached the man, who began to run away. (To sign up for Norwalk breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

"Officers were able to catch the male and recover a loaded .357 handgun from his waistband," Lieutenant Terrence Blake said in a release. "The arrest of this armed felon likely prevented future crimes."
