NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Police Department welcomed two new members this week, officials announced in a post on the department's Facebook page.
Officer Cortney Kenkelun and Officer Joshua Avila were sworn in during a ceremony by Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, Police Chief Thomas Kulhawik and Deputy Police Chief Susan Zecca.
Both start training at the state police academy next week and will join the force later this year.
