Norwalk Police To Hold Domestic Violence Awareness Candlelight Vigil
Norwalk police will hold a candlelight vigil later this month honoring victims and survivors of domestic violence.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police will hold a candlelight vigil Oct. 30 honoring victims and survivors of domestic violence.
In a news release provided by police, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the vigil will be held at 6 p.m. at the Norwalk Police Department, located on Monroe Street.
The public is encouraged to attend the event for an evening of reflection and remembrance, as well as to show support for survivors.

Planned speakers will include:
- Chief James Walsh, Norwalk Police Department
- Reverend Artie Kassimis, Word Alive Church
- Mayor Harry Rilling, City of Norwalk
- Suzanne Adam, CEO of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center
