Norwalk Police Investigating Double Shooting

The shootings occurred in the Washington Village housing complex in SoNo.

Norwalk Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the Washington Village housing complex in South Norwalk at 9:35 p.m. Thursday and found two people had been shot at the Raymond Street complex.

Police said one person was shot in the arm and the other was shot in the abdomen and leg. Both were taken to Norwalk Hospital where they are in stable condition, police said.

Officers interviewed residents in the area and witnesses and collected evidence for the investigation that is being handled by Norwalk detectives.

Police ask anyone with information to call the department’s tip line at 203-854-3011or by leaving an anonymous internet tip on the Norwalk police website or text an anonymous tip by typing NPD followed by the message and send to CRIMES (274637).
