The Norwalk Police Department has provided tips for drivers navigating roads in town during the fall season.
NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Police Department has provided tips for drivers navigating roads in town during the fall season.
The following tips were provided by police on their Facebook page:
1) Wet leaves on the road can be as slick as ice. Observe speed limits and avoid braking on leaf patches.

2) Early morning brings frost. Use caution driving over bridges before dawn and after dusk.
3) Deer are more active during the autumn, especially during dawn and dusk. Keep an eye out for them.

4) As daylight hours shorten, be especially cautious for pedestrians and cyclists.
5) Check tire conditions and pressure, and change out windshield wipers.
The department also jokingly advised residents to "watch out for longer lines anywhere that pumpkin spice coffee is served."
