Norwalk Police Promotes Its 'E-Commerce Safe Zone'

NORWALK, CT — The South Main Street parking lot at Norwalk Police Headquarters is considered an "E-Commerce Safe Zone," department officials announced.

The department allows and encourages residents to use it to meet strangers if you're buying or selling items on the Internet.

A sign touting the zone is posted at the lot, which lists emergency and non-emergency phone numbers.
