Norwalk Police Recognize 3 Officers Of The Month

NORWALK, CT — Three Norwalk police officers were recently recognized as August's "Officers of the Month" for their work during a recent event, according to police.

In a Facebook post, the department congratulated Sgt. Sal Calise, Officer Hector Delgado and Officer Max Sixto for their "tremendous work and dedication" to the Norwalk community.

The three officers were recognized for their work during a National Night Out event held in early August, which brought hundreds of Norwalk businesses and neighbors together, police said.

According to the department, approximately 600 backpacks stuffed with school supplies were distributed as a result of the event's backpack drive.

"Thank you for all of the amazing work you do for our community," police said on Facebook.
