Norwalk Principal Accused of Stealing $26k Applies For Program

He could avoid jail time if the program is granted.

NORWALK, CT — Former Jefferson Science Magnet School Principal John Reynolds has applied for a diversionary program after he was accused of stealing $26,000 from the school.

Reynolds allegedly took the money from the student activities fund, according to the Hour.

He will likely have to pay restitution and be put on a probationary program if a judge rules he is eligible.
