Norwalk Public Library Book Drops Open

"Filling book drops is the first step to sidewalk service."

Press release from Norwalk Public Library System:

June 18, 2020

Norwalk Public Library book drops are now open! Although our doors remain closed in compliance with the City’s concern for the health and safety of the community, library staff is hard at work. Staff members are in the Main library and the Sono branch ready to accept and process the more than 13,000 items that have been out in circulation since the library closed in mid-March. The sooner items are returned, the sooner they can be prepared for check-out so Sidewalk Service can begin. Fines or fees will not be charged until August 31, at the earliest.
