School districts across Connecticut are beginning to cancel or delay school for Feb. 25 due to the snowstorm.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Public Schools will be closed Friday due to inclement weather and a winter weather advisory being in effect, according to the district.

The news was announced early Friday morning on the Norwalk Public Schools Facebook page.

Areas along the immediate coast are expected to get 2-4 inches of snow and sleet Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Most interior portions of the state are forecasted to get 3-6 inches of snow and ice. The northern part of the state will get 4-8 inches.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Hartford, Tolland, Windham and Litchfield counties, and a winter weather advisory for all of southern Connecticut.
