Norwalk Reminds Residents To Renew Beach Passes

Norwalk reminds residents planning to enjoy a day at the beach to renew their passes after last year's pass expires.

NORWALK, CT — The 2017 Norwalk Resident/Beach Pass expired on March 31, and residents were given a 30-day Grace Period at both the Transfer Station and Yard Waste Site.

According to a release, residents are required to have the 2018 Resident/Beach Pass for cars or SUVs that enter the Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site, and for all vehicles to enter Calf and Shady Beach, Veterans Park and Cranbury Park.

Residents can go to the Parks & Recreation Department at City Hall or visit www.norwalkct.org/residentpass.

A reminder to Norwalk residents with pick-up trucks, vans and/or trailers that resident cards for the Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site do not need to be renewed until July 1.
