Norwalk Resident Awarded 65 Volunteer Years of Service by Girl Scouts of Connecticut

At Girl Scout of Connecticut’s Annual Meeting, Courtenay Austin of Norwalk, CT, was recognized for being a volunteer for Girl Scouts for 65 years.
Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Annual Meeting was held April 24 at the Glastonbury Riverfront Community Center. At the meeting, the council recognized a number of volunteers, members, and staff, and elected its new Board of Directors.
The Membership Numeral Pin recognizes years of membership with Girl Scouts of the USA, both as a girl and adult member combined. Jane was recognized at the beginning of the meeting by Girl Scouts of Connecticut CEO, Mary Barneby.
