Norwalk Resident Faces DWI Charge In New York

New York state police said they removed 18 impaired drivers from the roads over the weekend.

New York State Police charged 18 drivers with impairment over the weekend. Four were Connecticut residents.

On December 8, State Police arrested Heather A. Burr, 25, of Norwalk, CT, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 123 in the town of Lewisboro, when she was found sleeping on the highway. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On December 8, State Police arrested Thabiti N. Thompson, 42, of Stamford, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-On-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.

On December 9, State Police arrested Anibal J. Nieves, 50, of New Fairfield, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on June Road in the town of North Salem, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged

On December 9, State Police arrested Ricardo F. Guedes, 21, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
