Norwalk Resident Wins CT Scratch-Off Lottery Prize

The lucky ticket was sold in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased in Stamford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, Marsha T. claimed a winning $100,000 Cashword 12 ticket she bought at Belltown Superette on Belltown Road.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in February, and as of Tuesday, 14 grand prizes of $100,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, 54 second-place prizes of $10,000 had not been claimed.

More than 5.1 million of the game's tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
