Norwalk Residents Oppose Proposed Halfway House

The house would be on Quintard Avenue

NORWALK , CT — A number of residents on Quintard Avenue spoke in opposition to a proposed halfway house that would fall under the federal system.

More than 60 people attended the hearing, according to the Norwalk Hour. A company purchased the property and invested more than $600,000 in it. The company would operate under contract with the federal bureau of prisons.
