NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police ask residents to take precautions this month to protect themselves from car and mail thefts, both of which often increase during the holiday season.
In a Facebook post, police asked residents to lock their cars and take key fobs with them wherever they go.
"Criminals know you may have gifts in your car while you shop, especially if they are visible, as well as purses and wallets," police said on Facebook.
