NORWALK, CT — For people who don't want to spend hours or even days cooking and cleaning up from a big turkey dinner, a couple of restaurants in Norwalk are open Thanksgiving Day.
Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 23, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan as much as possible.

Here are some local restaurants that plan to be open, according to Open Table:
- Washington Prime (141 Washington Street)
- Blackstones Steakhouse - Norwalk (181 Main Street)
Additionally, both floors of BJ Ryan's at 57 Main Street will be open for regular hours on Thanksgiving starting at 11:30 a.m., offering their full menu as well as a traditional thanksgiving platter until midnight, according to the restaurant's owners.
